Hi! I’m Amy, the “brains” behind this operation. I’ve loved sewing for many years, and made my first doorway theater as a Christmas gift for my nieces in 2005. I made the pattern by adapting something I’d seen in a craft video several years ago. It was a fantastic hit with my nieces, so I made one for my boys.

I helped found an addiction recovery center in my local town, and decided to make and sell the theaters to help raise funds. So here we are. All profits from the theaters I’ve made go to the recovery center, a safe place for recovering addicts to meet in self-help groups.
